Until Void Company swooped in and swiped the whole bunch.

Caught amid the chaos of this banana banditry, Donkey Kong is swept up by a vortex that sends him deep underground.

As his adventure begins, DK encounters a young girl called Pauline. Together, they set a course for the Planet Core, which legends say will grant them their greatest wishes.

Break it Down

Bash through just about anything with the raw power of donkey kong! crash through walls, carve tunnels with your fists, punch straight down into the ground, and even tear off chunks of terrain to swing around and throw – the more you smash, the more secrets you’ll open up to explore.

Peel Back the Layers

Delve deeper underground to discover a subterranean world that’s more than it seems on the surface. From lush lagoons, enormous canyons, and even frozen tundra – each layer is full of surprises. These layers are also home to inhabitants who need help dealing with void company’s shenanigans.

Oh, Banana!

Each layer is chock-full of golden goodies to unearth, and chief among them are banandium gems. Collecting these tasty treats will earn you skill points to increase dk’s max health, power up his punches and learn new skills.

There’s a whole bunch of banandium gems to find, so explore (and destroy) every nook and cranny, and take on challenge courses throughout your adventure to gobble up as many gems as you can.

Unleash the Bananzas!

By harnessing bananzas, ancient powers passed down in the underground world, pauline’s singing can make dk transform into new animal forms. These transformations won’t last forever though, so use them wisely and gather up gold to keep your bananergy topped up.

Kong Bananza

Wield incredible destructive power to smash through stronger materials and terrain with relative ease.

Zebra Bananza

Move at top speed across the surface of water and crumbling pathways.

Ostrich Bananza

Spread your wings and soar through the sky, dropping egg bombs on your foes from above.

Trade fossils excavated from your destructive endeavours for fashionable outfits – including funky hats, stylish ties and fabulous fur colours! Customise donkey kong and pauline’s appearances to find a fit that not only looks good but adds benefits, such as reduced damage from enemies or helping you swim faster.
